Flora Pauer
Actress
Flora Pauer grew up in Vienna and Boston in a German-Austrian family. She discovered her passion for acting at the age of seven, writing and performing her own scenes for family and friends. She gained her first stage experience in school theater, playing roles such as Antoinette in Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid and Hermia in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, followed by performances at the Währing District Theater.
Flora received her professional acting training at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York and further honed her skills with coaches such as Susanne Geyer, Jo Kelly, Christoph Dostal, and Jens Roth. In addition to her acting education, she holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in International Business and has completed training as a professional voice-over artist and screenwriter.
As an actress, Flora has starred in award-winning short films: Vital Tech and Iris received recognition at international festivals, while her feature films 17km and Sparschwein were shown in cinemas. In 2024, she expanded her work behind the camera, serving as 1st assistant director for director Sabrina Mertens’ graduation film, the teaser shoot for Gabrielle (directed by Henny Reents), and the pilot shoot of the series Avi (directed by Michael Marlow) – in all three productions, she also appeared as an actress.
Beyond acting, Flora is a passionate athlete. She trained in heptathlon in her youth and now enjoys running, horseback riding, yoga, pilates, diving, and skiing/snowboarding.
Flora lives and works in Berlin and Vienna. She is a native speaker of American English and speaks French.
